Adrien Maillard
PhD in Artificial Intelligence

profile here

Hi, I am a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, specialized in constraint programming and applications of combinatorial optimization.

During my phd, I worked at ONERA, the French aerospace lab, under the supervision of Gérard Verfaillie and Cédric Pralet. My research interest lied in flexible planning strategies under uncertainties with an application in agile Earth-observing satellites.

My work was supported by the French space agency, CNES (Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales), Airbus Defence and Space and ONERA. Prior to that, I studied software engineering at INSA for 5 years and worked with planetary rovers during an internship at CNES. If you want to know more about the topic of my research, you can read the research section. See here for a list of my publications.

When I am not working, I like to go flying around Toulouse from Lasbordes Airfield in a little plane. If I don't fly a plane, I occasionnally jump from one in Pamiers as a skydiver. I also really like to travel, I don't miss a single chance to go somewhere new whenever I get the opportunity.

I am now looking for a postdoctoral position. If you're interested in any of what you've just read, please don't hesitate to send me an email at maillard dot adr at gmail dot com.
