Adrien Maillard
PhD in Artificial Intelligence

Hi, I am a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, specialized in planning and scheduling, especially in the space domain.

During my PhD, I worked at ONERA, the French aerospace lab, under the supervision of Gérard Verfaillie and Cédric Pralet. My research interest lied in flexible planning strategies under uncertainties with an application in agile Earth-observing satellites. My work was supported by the French space agency, CNES (Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales), Airbus Defence and Space and ONERA.

Prior to that, I studied software engineering at INSA for 5 years and worked with planetary rovers during an internship at CNES.

I am now working as postdoctoral researcher at Charles University in Prague with Roman Barták. We are focusing on translation of planning domain models to attribute grammars in order to unify the representation of planning problems and to open new areas of research.

My contract is finishing soon so I am now looking for another postdoctoral position. If you're interested in any of what you've just read, please don't hesitate to send me an email at maillard dot adr at gmail dot com.
